Front Desk Wellness Coordinator
The Joint Chiropractic — Missoula, MT
About Us:
The Joint Chiropractic in Missoula is a high-volume, membership-based chiropractic clinic dedicated to making quality chiropractic care accessible and affordable. We see a steady stream of walk-in patients and members each day, and our front desk team is the first and last impression every patient has of our clinic. We take that seriously.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a full-time Front Desk Wellness Coordinator who is the face of our clinic. You will greet patients, manage appointments and memberships, handle billing, and play an active role in helping patients understand the value of chiropractic care. This is not a passive receptionist role — we need someone who is warm, sharp, computer-savvy, and naturally good at converting walk-ins into long-term members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet every patient with genuine enthusiasm and provide an outstanding first impression of the clinic.
- Check patients in and out efficiently using our practice management software.
- Explain membership plans, pricing, and the benefits of regular chiropractic care with confidence and clarity.
- Convert walk-in patients and new patients into recurring members through consultative, low-pressure sales conversations.
- Process payments, manage accounts, and handle billing questions accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and waiting area.
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and manage the appointment schedule.
- Follow up with patients via phone or text to re-engage lapsed members.
- Track daily metrics including new patient counts, conversions, and membership retention.
- Work closely with the chiropractor(s) to ensure a seamless patient experience.
What We’re Looking For:
- Exceptional customer service skills — patients should feel cared for from the moment they walk in.
- Proven ability to meet sales goals or convert customers in a service-based environment.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly (experience with chiropractic or healthcare software a plus).
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional — full-time means showing up consistently.
- Positive attitude and a team-first mentality.
- Experience in healthcare, chiropractic, fitness, spa, or a similar wellness environment is preferred but not required.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Full-time position (approximately 35–40 hours/week).
- Hours vary and include some evenings and Saturdays — we are open 6 days a week.
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
- Performance incentives tied to membership sales and patient retention.
- Complimentary chiropractic care for you as an employee
How to Apply:
